Soft, dark, fleshy dates with a moist interior and rich caramel flavor. Ideal for Middle Eastern and European markets.
Grown in the palm groves of Bam and Jiroft in southeastern Iran, Mazafati (also known as Bam dates) is the world's most prized soft, fresh date. Dark mahogany skin, melting caramel-toffee flesh and natural moisture above 32% make it the benchmark for premium retail trays and gifting in Europe, the GCC, and East Asia.
Best kept refrigerated at 0–4°C or frozen at −18°C for long-haul shipments. At room temperature, consume within 30 days of opening. Reefer container at +4°C is recommended for Europe and North America.
For destinations beyond 14 days transit, we strongly recommend reefer containers at +4°C to preserve moisture and prevent sugar crystallization. For short-haul GCC routes, dry containers are acceptable in winter season.
Yes — our automated pitting lines deliver pitted Mazafati in 5 kg or 10 kg food-grade liners, suitable for date paste, bakery filling, and energy-bar manufacturers. Metal-detector verified.
AAA is selected for size uniformity (20mm+), glossy skin, and minimal defects — used for premium retail trays. AA is the standard export grade. A is used for industrial paste and filling applications.
